Trouble breathing and heart pains?

So i was noticing i was having alittle trounble breathing, then my heart got heavy and weird feeling, i was light and i was like fuzzy, i got up and i was freaking out so i ran to the pantry to get syrup incase its my blood sugar, and i put that under my tongue. i felt alittle better but now im havingg some heart pains and pains in my left side of my backish area. what could it be? is it safe to go to bed? im so tired :/
