How to get rid of moths in my kitchen?

I am truly sick and tired of these moths I places pantry traps down in the kitchen but to me it seem like they just attracting more.I put moth balls down but the stink so now I am lighting up incense in my home.I am going to throw everything away and put my sons cereal in zip lock bags....But is there anything that would be HELPFUL
