2 year old with behavioural issues!?

Basically, my 2 year old nephew (still young i know) is extremely destructive! He literally does not stop going from the minute he wakes up, rampaging around throwing things, breaking things, hitting things, screaming, everything. He is also quite violent towards his 3 and 1/2 year old sister, kicking, slapping, biting, headbutting! He does not listen to anything you say, and there is no such thing as sitting down with him on your lap- he is constantly going. He does not do these things in an angry or upset way but he seems to find it funny and a sort of game. I'm becoming worried because there is a history of asbergers syndrome within the family... he also doesnt seem to have any concept of commands- if you say "frankie will you get me the ball please over there" he doesnt even look to where you are pointing. Is it a bit too early to worry about these things? is it abnormal and should we take him to a doctor...any help or personal experience gladly appreciated

Need help finding a fridge (10 points)?

What's the best way to deal with a person that rants too much?

I would like some actual words to say, even if it's a script. There has got to be something to say when someone is going on and on about what angers him/her, whether it be a story on the news, the tv remote not working, the dog getting sick on the carpet. This person acts as if he has a right to express his feelings, which he does. However, doesn't it cross a line somewhere when the rants get so heated or lengthy. It seems so destructive. Any words someone can suggest to me would be greatly appreciated. This person also looks for opportunities to supposedly avenge wrongs but I get the sense it's not a cause that he would normally avenge. He's just using that as an excuse to express anger. Even if these causes were things he felt passionate about, that does not make right his way of dealing with it. All these things have been said to this person before and I'm not looking for advice such as, avoid the person. I want advice in the form of actual words to say to him or to our doctor. I already asked the doctor to ask the person to pay attention to the energy he gives out and the doctor acted like he can't help it because of his head injury. I don't know if this person was like this before the injury. Something has to be said. If anybody knows of anything said that actually does somehow penetrate, make a difference, make them think, make them seek to get help to be more constructive, I'm all ears. Thank you.

Should we get a border collie?

Suggestion on how to organize my recipe magazines?

i have 4 years worth of Rachael Ray mags and at least a years worth of Food network mags. I have them stacked in my pantry but of course, that is a lot of mags and i need to get rid of some. I will probably get rid of the first year or two of them b/c i had cut a lot of them up to paste the recipes i liked on recipe cards. so, there's not much to those anymore. I don't mind having one stack that i use all the time since everything I cook for my family comes from those mags, but i think more than one stack is too much. I don't want to lose recipes though, but even if i organize and keep them somewhere else in the house, they won't be as accessible and they will become too many to even use since I don't want to go through stacks and stacks just to make a dinner. I have RR cookbooks etc too, but those have different recipes in them and honestly the ones in the mags are the best. any suggestions?

Wife is finding it hard to concieve?

I think my friend has an eating disorder?

Ok so my friend (lets call her Kelly) anytime and anywhere she can get food she will take it. Now she is 13 and we all know about our periods and all those cravings, but this has happened even in 5th grade. So i was with her at the lake and she brought $20. Adopted a dog, not sure if the SPCA was right about his age?

I adopted a lab mix. They said Lab/Collie...now I can tell he's Lab/Husky by his curly tail, vocal talking, and how much he sheds!! When I adopted him they estimated 12-18 months. My husband and I decided we'd say he was 1 year a half at that time, so he's 2 years old now. I am seriously wondering if he may be older...say 3-5 years old. He is in good shape, good teeth, etc. Yet, he came to us with no puppy behaviours (and you'd think at 12-18 months that a lab mix would still chew and act like a puppy in some ways). He is totally mellow in the house and has never destructive chewed anything. The way that he acts you'd think he was older. So now I'm wondering if it sounds like he could be. I know there's not way to REALLY tell...but what has your experience been with adopting dogs? At 12-18 months does a lab/husky mix, in great shape, sound older than that if they do not chew anything and are low energy? Has anyone adopted a lab/husky mix before? Thanks for any thoughts. Ex boyfriend problems --- help please!?

Tiny looking black ants that walk so fast and sometimes wobbly?

I've never seen these kinds of insects before, which looks like tiny ants. Very tiny, black, walks so fast and at the same time walks wobbly and crazy. First I thought they were very tiny baby crickets, because sometimes we catch these crickets in our home. But one night I found a line of these weird looking tiny tiny ants and also out came these pretty big looking ants ones with wings on it. Does anyone know what the heck these pest are and anyways to kill it. Normally I just ignore it and wipe it off my kitchen counter now it's to the point where they're coming from the floor between the cracks of my carpet and counter to where it's going in my pantry. i think your list is pretty good :) perhaps you just need to eat more on a regular basis, like carbs (bread, rice, potatoes, bagels) and it really helps if you like to eat. you can have more variety of fruits (pineapple, watermelon, berries, oranges). and lettuce for sandwiches? but cooking is definitely better than microwaving especially if you want to be healthy takes about 15-20 minutes for a simple meal. but if you don't have time, i guess that's the best you can do. good luck!

Problem installing Lexmark x4650 on Vista?

As my HP printer died a little while back, I decided to buy an Lexmark 3-1 printer over the weekend. The printer seems to install fine with the provided disc. However, once it finished installing, I receive a message 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)'. She's curious and figured out how to do things. I have one cat that must try to open any door or cabinet when she sees one. If you latch a door or cabinet long enough they will stop trying that one since they know they can't open it. If they get it once they go back to it over and over. I would put a baby latch on my cabinet if this was my cat.

Get your son on the potty and only put him in a diaper at night only. During the day keep him in big boy underwear, and ask him every 30-45 minutes if he has to go to the bathroom, and give him an incentive to go. After about 2-4 weeks take him off of the nightly diaper and only ask him if he has to go about every hour and a half. Soon enough he should be fully potty trained.

so i noticed today that we have a groundhog living under the cement stairs leading up to our front porch. I am an animal lover and i enjoy seeing him sitting on the steps. it seems like his home is buried out under our stairs then a tunnel goes under the walkway to the other side. Please help i dropped a can on my big toe!!!!?

First I will tell you I am a HUGE worrier/OCD about death/hypochondriac. This morning I was cleaning out my pantry and I dropped a full can of juice on my big toe/toenail. Any advice on keeping a teen out of the fridge?

I have a 12 year old that we have had continuous issues with sneaking food. Primarily junk food. This has been an on going problem since the age of 6 when we took her into our home. We have tried what seems like everything....therapy, nutritional counseling, positive reinforcement (sticker charts), consequences such as grounding, losing privileges, making her pay for the food she sneaks, letting her get involved with the grocery shopping so she has some "healthy" options for her to choose from if she is hungry, removing items that seem to be "trigger foods", etc., etc., etc. She only does this behavior in the early morning hours (4-5am) before she has had her ADHD medication. It has come to the point where we have had to put a lock on the pantry door, but we don't have a way to keep her out of the fridge/freezer. There is a much larger underlying problem here that needs to be addressed, which is why we have been doing therapy with her. I'm fearful that if we don't get this under control now, this behavior could manifest itself into something much bigger as she gets older. Any ideas on how to "lock" the fridge without using a "padlock system". I understand this isn't dealing with the root of the problem, but if we remove the temptation while we are working on the underlying problem, I am hopeful it will make our home a happier place.

Why do i eat when i'm bored?

My daughter cuts herself and it hurts me terribly. I don't know what to say to her. My wife and I scolded her. I took away her cellphone and told her that she can only get it back when I start seeing her fingernails growing again. She bites her nails too. I don't remember seeing her fingernails since she was 12. She is now 17. I know she has problems at school as she doesn't have friends, and is always last in class academically. She likes to talk to adults because adults are more accommodating, but she could not get along with her own peers at school. She is welcomed at our church, and she plays the flute exceptionally well at Sunday services. We are at a lost. How can we help her. Did I do the right thing by withholding her cellphone? because I know she would do anything to get it back, and I hope that is strong enough motivation for her to stop her self destructive behavior.

Suggestion on how to organize my recipe magazines?

i have 4 years worth of Rachael Ray mags and at least a years worth of Food network mags. I have them stacked in my pantry but of course, that is a lot of mags and i need to get rid of some. I will probably get rid of the first year or two of them b/c i had cut a lot of them up to paste the recipes i liked on recipe cards. so, there's not much to those anymore. I don't mind having one stack that i use all the time since everything I cook for my family comes from those mags, but i think more than one stack is too much. I don't want to lose recipes though, but even if i organize and keep them somewhere else in the house, they won't be as accessible and they will become too many to even use since I don't want to go through stacks and stacks just to make a dinner. I have RR cookbooks etc too, but those have different recipes in them and honestly the ones in the mags are the best. any suggestions?

Taurus Help.... HELP! ASAP?

I have had the worse luck. I recently had a terrible experience with a Taurus male. It started off simple I was reading things about them and it said things about how they loved gifts, so shower them with gifts . Been doing it for decades. I have a small stockpile of can goods but I pass on the free toothbrushes and junk that would just sit around. What seemed to be a minor Trojan that got into my system deleted the entire os. I absolutely need the files and programs from the hard drive (I am a software developer, potentially millions of dollars of unpublished software on that hard drive, it failed during a backup, my luck). I want to get some honest, polite, constructive opinions on how to better handle something. I love my fiancée so very much. She is the most important thing in my simple life. She owns my heart completely and I just want her to be happy and successful, especially if something were to happen to me. (She is young 25 and I am much older) and she is admittedly addicted to online horse related SIM games. I honestly believe it’s part of why she is struggling in college, but she thinks it’s mainly her depression that is affecting her grades. But this woman is brilliant. I have always told her she is the smartest person I know. She reply’s I must not know very many smart people, but I do have some very intelligent friends. One speaks five languages four of which he taught himself and she is smarter than he is. The problem is I think she plays too many games too often, partly because of her depression but I think the games lead to less study, lower grades and consequently more depression. So I have been trying to get her to reduce the time she plays her games. Now I’m afraid I am getting obsessive about it. I’ve been keeping track of the games she plays and how often she’s on in an effort to hold her accountable I guess and try to make her realize she should play less. I have told her that she should only be playing when she has her class work done but I think she uses it to cope depression anxiety and stress too often. I do think she plays too many games too often. But then, I do not play games, so I guess it’s hard for me to understand the allure. Maybe I am being too sensitive and too critical or her. I’ve seen her online playing several games at once (I have a list of 12 that she has played this year although I think she only plays 3-4 consistently) and she sometimes plays for several hours. I feel bad though because it seems like I'm always getting on her for playing them. I have a nightmare living on my property. He's dangerous, loud, destructive and steals everything he can get his hands on. I live in a house in the mountains owned by my mother. She lives nearby. In January she allowed this individual to move his travel trailer to a location behind my house. He was supposed to pay the electric bill every month in exchange for allowing him to live there. My bill was around $200 when he moved in. 2 months later it was $1750. He moved in Jan. 21st and payed $100. The next time I got anything from him was Mid May. He gave me $200 and said he wanted $300 credit because he said my boyfriend owed him $100 because in Jan, while my boyfriend was helping him cut wood, the back window of his truck was accidentally broken by my boyfriend. He has not paid any of the electric bill as per the agreement and he refuses to move. He threatens my boyfriend's life daily, breaks into my house, yells, screams and terrorizes my household, sabotages the pump so we don't have water, severely damaged the pump house (tore the walls out and left it with huge holes you can walk through,steals whatever he can, has pinched my butt and made unwelcome sexual comments to me, tries to hurt my dog, and is generally a nightmare to deal with. He has 10 or so vehicles and lots of tools/junk strewn from one end of the property to the other. All the cars have their hoods/trunks/doors open and most have some or all of the interiors and motors scattered nearby. He refuses to stay out of my immediate living space or move his vehicles and mess to his area. The sheriff has been called twice and they wouldn't do a thing to help. The second time was because He tried to break into the home while we were inside(asleep at 1:15 AM). He was screaming and banging on the doors and walls threatening to kill my boyfriend. By the time the sheriff's arrived he was locked in his trailer, hiding. They didn't talk to him because they said they couldn't just break in as the door was locked. They acted like it was us who are the problem and even went so far as to suggest that WE move!!! We have asked him to pay rent, to be nice, to move out and he absolutely refuses. He was served with a 30 day notice of eviction. I know he will not move. What do I do? How do I get rid of this jerk? We can't afford an attorney. We can't afford to pay the bills, that's why my mom let him move onto the property to begin with! He wanted to help us out! I thought maybe I could get rid of him if I let the power get shut off but the sheriff's told me that if I do that my children will be removed from my home and put in foster care. Can anyone give me any advice about how to fix this situation? I am scared to death of him and afraid he will destroy everything on the property. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Having a prob with my YouTube app on my iPhone. It says it cannot connect to YouTube. Anyone else experiencing the same problem or is it my cell phone in general that's messing up? Wanted to delete it and reinstall it just like that but can't delete it apparently. Even tried looking it up on iTunes too but no luck there either.

ok i understand that you love your sister and don't understand her choices but if you really care about her you just have to be there for her no matter what she chooses because if you try to make sense out of something that you don't understand and tell her this and that you will just push her further away and closer to him even though he doesn't deserve her! Mtn. Dew has more sugar than monster energy drinks. All of the sugar you are putting in your body makes your heart overwork. Leading to more health problems in the future. You most likely should turn to water. Or at least detox for a week. Water will flush out all the bad toxins in your body. Especially if you detox. All of that sugar in mtn. Dew is eating away at your tooth enamel, and corroding your insides. It's best to keep away from all of the sugar. :)

Well I got bored and tired of sitting on my 3 letters at home and having no luck in finding a job so I decided to make some changed. I enrolled in a pharmacy tech course yesterday. Its 6 week course like 8hours twice a week. My question is , what exactly do you learn while taking classes like that ? I know it might be a dumb question and it kinda is my fault that I didn't ask the person that I spoke with yesterday.Like what exactly do you learn? STEAM: why is Steam doing this to me?

So I downloaded steam, made my username my real name, and downloaded team fortress 2. I then realized that the username I picked was my online game name, so I switched the contact email and made a brand new account with the same email I used for the last account, because that's my primary email. Anyway, I launched team fortress 2, went into a game, and it displayed my name to be my real name!!! Even though on my account it shows the new account I created. How to change this so t displays that username? Thank you! I didn't change just my display name for forums and such, I made an entire new account. And I even reinstalled tf2, no luck. What if I don't report a pet in a pet friendly apartment?

I have a little wiener dog and if I were to tell the apartment office I planned to take her with me, I'd have to pay an extra $50 a month, which I find quite ridiculous; that dog doesn't even cost me half of what I'd have to pay just to feed and take care of her every month. I know they technically charge pet rent for damages, however why the hell am I going to pay for damages that haven't happened yet and most likely won't considering I don't have issues with my dog damaging anything and she is also house broken; if I knew she was destructive, then I wouldn't mind. Anyhow, opinions? Has anyone done this before and gotten away with it?

Would people people actually want a dog that bites?

We're trying to rehome our dog. He's a wonderful border collie who has mastered obedience training and knows tons of tricks. He's calm, cuddly, and not at all destructive. He has biting tendencies though. He always tries to bite kids and he often bites at adults that he doesn't know if they get too close to him (and no, its not herding behavior). He's had these behaviors since he was 8 weeks old. He's actually bitten a friend, and had to be quarantined. Recently he bit another friend, but did not break skin this time. He would have bit about 100 more people by now in his life, but we're very careful. He's always been more of a shy biter, but its definitely problematic. We've worked with an animal behaviorist and 2 trainers. Our dog is quite submissive and easy to control, so he definitely knows who alfa is. The trainers both said they believe he's a good dog, but they think the breeder did something wrong to produce a dog like this. We'd keep him, except we're about to have our first baby. We're trying to rehome him, but 2 rescues have turned us down, and we're afraid we'll have to put him down. Do you think there is even a small chance that somebody out there would want a dog like this?

Just a regular stomach ache, I probably ate something bad... Ugh, it's more annoying then it hurts. It hurts on the upper right side, right below the rib cage. Maybe this could have been the rice I ate a few hours ago? I think so. Just plain white rice... Anyway, I have some teas in my pantry. Ginger, Green Tea, Chamomile, Sleeping Tea and Dieters Tea (dieters tea is def not an option cause that will make my stomach hurt more cause it's a strong laxitive) so will any of these help a stomach ache? So today I ate, 3 times. I eat a sandwich for breakfast lunch and dinner. It consists of around 300 calories per sandwich. And I snack on a peanut butter granola bar (for the protein) I eat the sandwiches for the carbs and protein. They are on whole wheat, with a very light amount of mayo and some cheese and lettuce. Now I also exercise quite intensely for about 30-50 minutes with a 10 minute cool down walk. Why do I get so ******* hungry, by the end of the night I want to eat my whole pantry. My dog is acting strange?

My dog is flinching whenever anyone tries to pet him. We have a pretty big pantry room and he won't go into there to go outside. He's acting like he's afraid of the pantry room and he's never done that before. There's a door in the pantry, which is my brothers room and he just ran in there and he won't come out because he's to afraid. He was acting fine about 2 or 3 hours ago. We have had him since he was a puppy and now he's about 6 years old and he's never acted like this. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong with him, any thoughts would help. Thanks

However dont tell people how you feel! Just dont date someone with a mental disorder but dont tell the person that you dont want to date them because of their disorder because that is mean to do. Just make up another reason why you dont want to date them (such as 'we are too different' 'im not looking to date anyone right now' etc).

Why do i think about food 24 7?

I lost 100lbs in 2010. i counted every calorie and kept a daily journal. i actually enjoyed doing this. but around the holidays tapered off, eventually stopping all together. I decided to change my method to high protein low fat. i start off good everyday, but by evening i fail. i think about food constantly assessing my day and what food might be available where ever i go, or at home going over in my mind what is in the pantry, fridge and freezer. i am never hungry. what ever i'm doing through out the day thinking about food is always lurks in the background. it is very torturous. HELP!

Im desperate!! I have been through several guys and they have all used me, abused me ect. Well i finally have this amazing girlfriend and she loves me to pieces. I've had it for over a month now. When I first discovered it, I cut it out, or so I thought. It quickly got worse and now the skin around it has gotten swollen, hard, and thick, keeping me from cutting it out. I think it's infected and it's very painful and sensitive. I tried fixing it after a long hot shower, but no luck. Normally I wouldn't put out an embarrassing question as this, but it's so unbearable now that even a slight touch causes me a lot of pain. Do plug in pest (insect) repellents run up electric bills?

I'm leaving for the summer in 4 days and I just noticed ants (in pantry) and springtails (on windowsills, bathroom, kitchen) in my home two days ago (apartment on top floor of an old home-the bottom is used as a bar/hangout area for the landlords son.) Last night I just saw a cockroach for the first time and it's feces on the pantry floor. I cried a little bit because I've never, ever had bug problems and these three issues just showed up within two days of each other. Im freaking out, my landlord is going to bug spray, but I'm going out of town for 3 months, may-july and I'm scared my house will be overrun when I come back. So, I'm wondering if i could buy an ultrasonic plug in bug/pest repellent and if it will do anything. I'm also wondering if it will run up my electric bill (and extra $5 a month isn't bad.) Advice? In desperate need of help for training my Lab/Pitbull mix.?

My fiance and I have had this dog since November of 2010. We rescued him from the pound. He was one of a litter of eight male puppies and we were given no information on the parents. He looks like a lab mostly but some people say he has some characteristics of a pitbull as well. My fiance and I DO NOT want to get rid of him, but we are at a loss of what else to do. This is the worst dog we have EVER had. And we have tried everything from cage training to the clicker to a shock collar to a sonic sound remote. Nothing works. If you reprimand him, he actually barks back at you. He doesn't listen AT ALL to anyone telling him to stay off the couch or not to eat food off the table or anything. He bites hard, and when I lay on the bed, he actually bites the back of my neck and my fiances neck. Spanking doesn't work, he still barks and bites back. My fiance and I definitely want children sometime but neither of us trust this dog enough to even let him near OTHER children. If we do get rid of him we can't even consider giving him to a family because he bites. We both love this dog to death and want it to work but he is destructive and has destroyed a leather couch we haven't even had for a month that we still need to make payments on. We live in an apartment, but he goes for daily walks and occasionally goes to the dog park or a friends back yard when we go over for barbeques. We put him through a training course at PetSmart and he failed MISERABLY. He was the barking trouble maker in the class. We got him the shock collar and he learned that he only gets shocked when he barks loudly so he started just moaning quietly enough so that it was still annoying but not shocking him. I am with him all morning and my fiance is with him all night. What can we do?!?!?!
